Dog Home Boarding from County Pet Services
Licenced dog home boarding
I know leaving your dog with someone can be as nerve-wracking as sending a child off for a sleep over! I treat your loved one with the same care and love as if they were one of our own dogs.
I am a 5-star licensed home boarding establishment (licence number 000015403 – please see the register at Wiltshire Council’s web site). This gives you peace of mind that I have achieved the highest possible standard during my Council inspection and have been assessed as operating the safest level of home boarding environment.
Your dog or dogs will stay with us in our dog-safe and friendly home, with our dogs and family. Also in the home is my partner plus my adult daughter and her partner. All 4 of us are dog lovers and take care that your dog is made to feel at home, safe and loved for their stay. My partner and daughter mostly work from home so there is always someone around even when I am out on other dog walks.
Mental stimulation is as important as physical exercise for your best friend. As well as regular group walks on Salisbury Plain, my house has plenty to keep your best friend busy. I have lots of activities around the home for the dogs including a well-stocked toy box, with soft and hard toys, lots of doggy friendly sofas, a safe and secure garden, and a doggy specific play and sleep room, should anyone need some space or time away from the pack.
Your doggy’s daily routine is kept as close to home life as possible. We will feed whatever food you bring at your dog’s normal mealtimes. This can be tins, pouches, dry or raw, and we have freezer facilities for bulk raw meat. Water is always available. You are welcome to bring beds and familiar blankets, although we usually find lots of bed swapping goes on!
